We're Here to Listen
Our specialized teams work with the Department of Child Services [DCS] by referral. Our focus is on:
Substance abuse, alcoholism, and other addictions are not only detrimental to the abuser but negatively impact family and friends who have no clue where to turn. What seems to be helpful can be enabling and what seems like horrendous treatment can actually be the saving grace. It is not easy. It's long-lasting even if the addiction is in remission.
We assist families who need to learn how to cope with the choices of a loved one who is struggling, not yet ready to heal or attempting to maintain.
The Behavioral Center is the parent company to "Weight, What? Food Addiction Services. This intensive, online, or in-person program works with those who have struggled with their weight for a significant amount of time with no success. This program is a behavioral journey that will address underlying issues and unhealed experiences or events that contribute to excess eating. It will identify the underlying issues, people, and events that contributed and still contribute to one's use of food as a vice. This can be done in private counseling or in a group setting.
