The Behavioral Center collaborates with The Department of Child Services and a variety of community partners to provide families with support, casework, mental health services, parenting education, visitation with children, and additional resources necessary to reduce the neglect and abuse of children and keep the children in the home. We strive to meet this goal by ensuring our team members are well-educated, compassionate, and goal-oriented for successful outcomes of family reunification.
The Behavioral Center envisions all children will live in safe, healthy, and supportive families and communities that provide and protect them from harm while giving them the tools to learn, thrive, and make positive and happy memories that will last them a lifetime.
We accomplish this vision by ensuring the rights, cultural beliefs, and heritage of all families are incorporated into all services. We create and sustain a culture that is welcoming to everyone and values the inherently unique viewpoints and contributions of individuals from differing backgrounds.
